Privacy

CluePop is designed for household play. Children may play without creating an account, entering an email address, or providing contact information. A grown-up age 18 or older may optionally protect household progress by creating a private Clue Key. CluePop stores only a one-way verification value for that key, not the readable key itself. The adult age confirmation is used only to enforce the grown-up-only recovery flow. These details are not sold or used for behavioral advertising.

Player profiles may save details you choose to enter—such as a first name or nickname, age, household role, game choices, puzzle results, active playtime, hints, mistakes, points, streaks, difficulty, recent activity, and recent puzzle content—so CluePop can restore progress, avoid repeats, and gently tailor future games. Do not enter a child’s full name, birthdate, address, school, contact details, health information, or other sensitive information.

Detailed play sessions, puzzle attempts, and repeat-avoidance history are automatically deleted after 12 months. A grown-up can permanently delete all household player data from the Player Profiles page at any time. Existing customer and subscription records are preserved separately so prior customers can still manage or cancel their accounts. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by CluePop.

Terms

CluePop provides its current games and printables free for personal, non-commercial use. Play never requires signup. Only an adult age 18 or older may create or restore a household recovery account. No purchase, payment card, email, or password is required for recovery. You may print copies for your household, classroom, childcare setting, or one event, but may not resell, redistribute, or publish CluePop materials as your own.

An adult must review every activity and supervise setup. Never place clues near roads, pools, medication, weapons, heat, electricity, moving appliances, high shelves, locked areas, or anywhere a child should not enter alone. Road Spotter is for passengers; drivers must not interact with the game while driving.

Earlier subscriptions

CluePop no longer requires a paid subscription. Existing customers can visit Earlier subscription settings to manage or cancel an earlier Stripe subscription. Canceling stops future charges according to Stripe’s displayed schedule and does not remove free access or saved player history.
